Turkey’s first and only Base jump athlete Cengiz Koçak set another World record after he jumped at the Fjords of Norway on 13rd July.
Cengiz Koçak, who was invited from Norway for the Multi-Jumping World Record, was on the Norwegian Fjords for the jump on July 13. 68 athletes from around the World and Koçak, who is only athlete from Turkey, jumped from same point named “Eikesdalen” and set a new record after eight years.
Cengiz Koçak, who is very important extreme sports athlete in Turkey, became an important figüre for also World Base jump community. “I am very happy to represent myself and my country in this jump which became an important milestone for the world base jump history. I want to thank Samsun Metropolitan Municipality” said Koçak, after his jumping.
It will be possible to watch Turkey’s first and only Base Jump athlete Kocak in Falcon Fest at Şahinkaya Canyon between 4-9 August.
